Surat: 7 killed, 6 bodies found in boat sinking, one still missing

Surat Three more bodies have been found today in a boat capsize accident at Amali Dam in Mandvi taluka on January 11. Three more bodies were found this morning. A total of 6 bodies have been recovered so far. One person is still missing and is being searched. A total of 10 people drowned, three of whom swam out. While 7 people drowned. 2 out of 7 bodies were found immediately, while the search for the remaining 5 bodies has been going on for the last 4 days. The help of SDRF and NDRF was sought after the local fire.

The details are that on the morning of the 11th, at Amli Dam, 10 people were going in a boat to mow the lawn. At the same time, for some reason, the boat capsized in the dam. Which caused seven people to drown. The news sent shockwaves through the region. Upon learning of the incident, a team of Mandvi police and fire department also rushed to the spot and started searching the dam.
